IDF INNOCENT OF REFUGEE CAMP SLAUGHTER
No matter how much time passes, we will always remember where we were and what we were doing when the first reports started coming in that the Itani Defense Force had launched a series of attacks against Serco refugee camps killing seventeen thousand innocent men women and children. An act which to this day, the Itani government denies. The Serco and Itani had been at war for years but with this attack, the Serco military went into overdrive committing more troops than ever to the war effort and sending record numbers of Teradons and Constellation class gunships into combat. The combat intensified so greatly that for the first time in living memory, Serco military units began occupying conquered sectors of Deneb, forcing the Itani to commit all available forces to Deneb simply to prevent the system from falling to the Serco. Sadly, these dark events are not behind us and it would seem they have become even darker than originally thought. The Sol II based group S.I.M.P.L.E... (Sercos Into Meditation Peace Love Everything)... working with the IIM... (Itani Investigative Monks), have turned up startling evidence that the IDF is in fact innocent in these attacks. Analysis of certain comm frequencies indicates that the communications equipment being used was Itani military issue, thirty years ago. In addition, recently declassified IDF documents tell us that the Valkyrie X-1 fighter craft used in the attack were in fact stolen and their pilots murdered by what was at first assumed to be a Serco hit squad, based on the corpse of one of the assassins and the amount of cybernetic implants she was found to have. Upon closer inspection however, the assassins implants actually originated from BioCom industries. In addition, the two wounds deemed fatal most closely resembled the work of the "BioCom nanite rifle", outlawed when all three nations agreed that a weapon of such cruelty had no place in war. BioCom officials simply offered "No comment." when questioned about their involvement in the massacre. Though one source speaking on the condition of anonymity, relocation and protection told Dau senate and the council of The Propeller Group that... "Our quarterly sales were slipping, the Serco were going more and more to Axia for all types of contracts. I didn't think it was going to be like this... I really didn't know so many people would get hurt! We outfitted a team of Corvus mercs with imitation Serco implants and sent them to steal those X-1s making sure they killed one and left him where he'd be found. Then we upgraded the X-1s weapons and sold them to a splinter group of the Order of Akan. You have to understand... I thought these guys were incompetent hacks, if I thought for a moment they were going to slaughter all those people I..." The official testimony ends there as a snipers bullet separated most of his head from his neck. UIT authorities as well as TPG security forces are currently seeking any information in regards to the incident. As a result of the testimony, countless indictments have been sworn out against the BioCom corporation, including theft of a foreign governments property, war crimes and seventeen thousand three hundred forty six counts of murder as well as seventeen thousand three hundred forty six individual counts of crimes against humanity. Dau senate has convened a special council to look into how to go about handling this unprecedented situation. Both the Itani and Serco governments are demanding that the BioCom board of directors be turned over to them. |

ANCIENT EARTH CRAFT FOUND SERCO VOY DESTROYED

UIT miners have recovered the wreck of an ancient space craft believed by some to be an early human space craft designed to take religious people on a pilgrimage to some ancient holy sight. The true mystery is how did the ancient craft make it as far as Deneb.
Scholars from all three nations have gathered to examine the craft, as well as theologians who will be giving talks on the ancient earth religion of NASA.
The craft (displayed below) will be on display in EO, Dau and Sol II along with collections of other ancient Earth artifacts.

A convoy of twelve ships carrying Serco weapons and medical equipment in Dau came under fire late last night, security sources say.
All told, there were fifteen fatalities and a total loss of cargo. Several others were reported injured by explosions, plasma burns and decompression during the attack. The incident took place near an army checkpoint in sector K-11 The convoy was taking Serco weapons and medical equipment from Sol II and Nyrius for research. One eyewitness said said the attack lasted only seconds, giving the Serco pilots no time to react. According to the according to an officer from the UPK, an explosion was seen as far as two sectors away, which may indicat the use of BioCom mines.
