NEW PIRATE FORCE IN THE VERSE ITANI GOV' TESTS "BOTANICAL SPRAY
After an apparent falling out with CLM commander, MysticRouge... Impavid has left CLM in a quest for greener pastures, apparently taking several CLM pilots with him. Shortly after leaving CLM, Impavid formed Kharon's Shores - [CHRN] which attracted such notable and notorious pirates as The Black Flag, Peytros, Maalik and Bockscar. Although the ultimate goals of CHRN are as of yet unknown, MysticRouge has told UAN that she bares Impavid and the other pilots that have left CLM the best of luck in their futures endeavors, and bears them no ill will. So, at least for now... a war between pirate guilds seems unlikely. Though there are whispers of alliances and non aggression treaties between the various pirate guilds, which may have even broader repercussions than a pirate war. Representatives of TGFT were unavailable for comment, though Ryan Reign of the Phoenix Alliance had this to say... "On a personal level, I don't have any problems with any pirate guilds or their members. How ever, as a council member of PA... I can say that PA will actively act to protect its interests against any threats. Be they Pirate, government or 'other'."

The Itani government has green lit production of a new botanical pesticide "Compound X-12-B" after testing it on a moon inhabited by a large amount of animal life. The result was a barren waste land devoid of even the most basic life forms... including plant life, resulting in a once fertile jungle covered moon becoming a barren waste land within a
few short weeks. The toxins in the pesticide were so volatile that even the atmosphere... (what little is left of it)... is so toxic that it even affects robotic probes and drones sent to collect information and soil samples.
The future of this pesticide is uncertain given the two hundred and seventeen Itani lives lost when two ounces of "Compound X-12-B" were stored improperly and exposed to the atmosphere on an Itani research station, killing every one on board. Though its potential military applications are being studied. |
